CLE Urban Winery is the perfect venue to host your party, fundraiser, or special event! Whether you are celebrating a special milestone with family and friends, holding a community gathering or meeting, raising money for a great charitable cause or looking for a unique place for corporate and networking events — let us be your host! We host both public and private group events in the Tasting Room and reservations are made on a first come, first served basis. We also know putting on an event can be stressful but not to worry… booking our chic, flexible, and welcoming space for your event is not only affordable but also risk and stress free – we guarantee it! If you are not 100% thrilled with our service and support for your event, we will refund your Event Reservation Fee AND we will offer you another event date without a reservation fee to make it right! We want you and your guests to feel completely comfortable, celebrated, and cared for – our staff will go the extra mile to ensure your event is a huge success! Your Event Reservation Fee not only secures your event date for both semi-private and private events, but it also includes a personalized event planning consultation session with our owner, Destiny, who will review all the needs and requirements for your event in advance and personally make sure we have every detail taken care of.

Another great benefit of having your event here at the winery is that we allow outside food to be brought in for both semi-private and private events. We can also provide contact information on preferred caterers. You must provide your own paper products and cutlery for food service as well as chaffing dishes as needed to keep food at appropriate serving temperatures. No outside beverages are permitted and all beverages for your event must be purchased through the bar. A complimentary water cooler station is available for public use. 

For your convenience, we now offer the following in-house catering services for both semi-private and private events at the winery:

Coffee/Tea Service: $3 per person

Continental Breakfast Service: $12 per person (includes bagels, spreads, fruit, pastries)

Sandwich Service: $15 per person (includes assorted cold sandwiches, chips, and cookies)

Cheese and Charcuterie Grazing Table: $18 per person (includes an assortment of cheeses, meats, veggies/fruit, spreads, olives, nuts, and crackers)   

Note: Catering orders must be placed no less than one week before the event date. Price includes disposable plates, napkins, and utensils but does not include sales tax or optional gratuity.

There are two event booking options available to you:

OPTION #1: Book semi-private shared space at the winery for your event!
For groups of 30 people or less, we offer a seating/anchor area for your event in the back area of the winery. It is semi-private and separated from the rest of the Tasting Room, but it is not a fully private space. This space will include table and couch seating and provide an anchor area for your group, but your guests are welcome to sit/gather there or anywhere in the winery space. For a $50 Event Reservation Fee, we will reserve and set up this space for your group during regular business hours (Tue-Sat 4-10pm). There is no bar sales minimum required for the semi-private option, and your group will have full access to a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for sale at our full-service bar as well as a complimentary water cooler station. This is a very affordable, flexible way to host a party or event for a small group!

For groups of 10 people of less, we do have a comfortable couch gathering area in the front section of the winery that is available on a first-come, first-first served basis during business hours with no reservation or fee required. This area is perfect for a girl's night, book club, board meeting or other small gathering.

Of note, our Community Wine Club members can reserve the semi-private event space at no cost and can also reserve the couch gathering area in advance... yet another benefit of Community Wine Club membership! Reservations for groups of more than 30 people typically can’t be accommodated during regular business hours and should be booked as a private event. Should you need to cancel or reschedule your event for any reason, the Event Reservation Fee won’t be refunded but can be applied to a new reservation date.

OPTION #2: Book a private event at the winery!
The winery can currently accommodate up to 100 people for a private event (with table/bar/couch seating for ~70 people and standing room with café tables for an additional ~30 people) with the winery closed to the public during your event.

An Event Reservation Fee is required to confirm your reservation. In addition, you must commit to a bar sales minimum during your event (plus tax and staff gratuity) which varies depending on the day of the week and time period(s) that you wish to reserve the winery space for your private event (see below for specific pricing and other details). All bar sales made during your event will be applied to your bar minimum and any remaining balance must be paid in full at the conclusion of your event. Be advised that we add a standard 20% gratuity for one consolidated tab (you may add more if you wish to acknowledge superior service).

No outside beverages are permitted, and guests will have access to a wide variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at our full-service bar. We can offer a cash bar for your event guests, or the host may choose to offer an open bar with one consolidated tab to meet the bar minimum (or a combination of the two).  

For a private event, you can decorate the winery (within our guidelines - see our Event FAQs for details) and bring in music or entertainment. We have a Bluetooth Sonos speaker system, and you can access a public playlist on Spotify using our connected device. An event planning session with our owner, Destiny, is provided as part of your Event Reservation Fee so that we will be ready to accommodate your wishes and make sure setup and event execution are seamless, flawless, and stress free!

PRICING AND TIMESLOTS FOR PRIVATE EVENTS:

Standard private event 4-hour timeslots, fees, & bar minimums are as follows:

Monday-Thursday – 4-8pm, 5-9pm or 6-10pm: $250 Event Reservation Fee (50% OFF!) & $750 bar minimum

Friday – 6-10pm: $1000 Event Reservation Fee (50% OFF!) & $2000 bar minimum (6-11pm timeslot is also available with a $2500 bar minimum)

Saturday – 12-4pm: $250 Event Reservation Fee (50% OFF!) & $750 bar minimum
Saturday – 6-10pm: $1000 Event Reservation Fee (50% OFF!) & $2500 bar minimum (6-11pm timeslot is also available with a $3000 bar minimum)

Sunday – 12-4pm: $250 Event Reservation Fee (50% OFF!) & $750 bar minimum

Sunday – 5-9pm: $500 Event Reservation Fee (50% OFF!) & $1000 bar minimum

The 4-hour timeslot for your event includes set-up and cleanup. You can add additional time for set-up of your event for an additional $50 per hour. The Event Reservation Fee and any additional hourly set-up fees are due at the time the reservation is made and are non-refundable – however, the Event Reservation Fee is subject to our GUARANTEE that you will be absolutely delighted with your event or will we refund your Event Reservation Fee and rebook another event date for you with no additional fee. Should you need to cancel or reschedule your event for any reason, the Event Reservation Fee won’t be refunded but can be applied to a new reservation date. 

PARKING

There is a lot of FREE parking in the Cedar-Lee District! The best place to park is in the large parking garage across the street from the winery. Due to ongoing construction related to The Marquee development, the parking garage is only accessible from Tullamore Rd off Lee Rd, south of Cedar Rd (Marchant Manor Cheese Shop is on that corner as a landmark). There is also some signage to guide you. After you park in the garage, there is a walkway through the Mini-Park next to Boss Dog Brewery that will bring you out to Lee Rd right across from the winery. There are handicapped parking spaces just outside of the public parking garage and accessible walkways from there through the Mini-Park to bring you out to Lee Rd.

There is also some street parking available on Lee Rd – meters are inoperative throughout the District, so you do NOT have to put any quarters into any of them if you see one. All public parking in the District is free. There are additional free parking lots in the District within easy walking distance of the winery:

  • Corner of Meadowbrook Blvd and Lee Rd: Small parking lot on the western side of Lee Rd.
  • Intersection of Meadowbrook Blvd and Silsby Rd: Large parking lot behind the strip of businesses between Meadowbrook Blvd and Silsby Rd.
  • New Heights Grill: Public parking lot just south of this business on western side of Lee Rd.

Due to the construction, you currently can’t turn left onto Lee Rd when traveling west on Cedar Rd. The best place to park if you are entering the District this way is to park in the free public parking lot on block west of Lee Rd on your left off Cedar Rd. There are signs to guide you. It is a short walk to Lee Rd from there. Don’t park in the CVS lot – that is not available for public parking.

Do not park in the Dewey’s Pizza parking lot. If you are dropping off food or other items for an event at the winery, feel free to drive around to the back garage door of the winery through the Dewey’s Pizza parking lot to drop things off, but then please move your car to the parking garage.

Weekday Daytime Facility Rental

The winery is the perfect place for private weekday meetings or gathering for up to 40 people. You can reserve the Tasting Room for your event for a 4-hour period of your choosing on Monday through Friday between 9am-4pm for a $100 Event Reservation Fee (50% OFF!). This fee is payable when the reservation is confirmed. If your event needs to be cancelled or postponed, the fee can be applied to a rescheduled event. Included in the Event Reservation Fee is table/bar seating for up to 40 people and the use of a wall-mounted Smart TV screen with HMDI cable to connect to your computer for display. We can also provide a large projection screen for your projector.

Also included in your Event Reservation Fee is a complimentary event planning session with our owner, Destiny, to make sure your event goes off without a hitch, and our guarantee that your will be delighted with your event or your Event Reservation Fee will be refunded.

A winery staff member will be present for the duration of your event to provide any support needed and to man a cash bar during the event with both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages available for sale. You can bring in your own food or order from our in-house catering options (see above), but all beverages must be purchased from the winery. A complimentary water cooler is provided and special beverages requests can be accommodated with advanced notice.

We are committed to providing a comfortable, safe and sanitary environment for you and your guests! We don't have outdoor seating, but we will open our garage doors when the weather permits! We also have commercial-grade ventilation fans throughout the Tasting Room to ensure fresh air circulation and have installed germicidal UV Light filtration in our HVAC systems. Tables, chairs, menus, frequently touched surfaces and restrooms are cleaned and sanitized by our staff at regular intervals.
